Im looking into Jonathan Smith b abt 1799 in N. Carolina He died abt 1870 in Ga. he had a daughter Martha who was born 1829. She married Hardy Eason Fortner who was the son of Sarah Jane(sallie) Fortner. No one seems to have info on his father or Sarah's real last name.
