looking for further information on James Woodcock b1800 m Sarah Dye b1811abt m28/11/1826 children Margaret Woodcock b1827 m William Jonas b1820 m abt 1850, Sarah Woodcock b1828, John Woodcock b1834, Susan Woodcock b1838 m Robert Eke b1834 m26/7/1865 in Guestwick Norfolk,
Benjamin Woodcock b1842.
They all appear on the 1841 census.
Hoping someone can help.

Dear David, If you click on EKE, and goto the link "Norfolk Surnames List" there are quite a few EKE researchers and a couple for WOODCOCK.

My great-great grandfather, John Woodcock, was born in the early 1830's in NY per the 1860 PA & 1870 WI census. Could he be related to your James and Sarah? I Have been looking for John's parents or siblings for quite some time.

Pam,
The John Woodcock in my tree was born in 1834 in Guestwick Norfolk England.
I know that lot of Woodcock's emmigrated to the states.
I do not have any more information other than what I have posted.
