Vicky,
I am looking for the parents of Electious also. My uncle recently did a DNA test and we matched within one marker to descendants of Electious. My ancestors are from Southwest Virginia, and it is thought that Electious must be the uncle of my ggggrandfather, William C Thompson. William was born in 1796 in Montgomery Co. NC and migrated to Lee County, Virginia. Electious lived for a time in both Montgomery Co. NC and Lee County, Va. William died visiting relatives in Kentucky, where many of his 13 children moved and where Electious descendants also lived. I am still trying to put together pieces of the puzzle. Linda Jonas was helping me with this put I have not heard from her in several months. If you have any information about this I'd love to "talk" to you. I realize yours is an old post, but hopefully, you are still working on your Thompson genealogy.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
