Dear gemm46, If you purchase their marriage certificate perhaps more information will be revealed for example, witnesses to the wedding, occupations even, Church name, Religion, etc.
Frederick D. FAIR married 1927 Casino NSW Australia to Ethel W. CROUCH.

and strangely there is a record of a death of a Frederick William FAIR that died in 1946 at Casino NSW aged 66 years (so that would make his birth abt 1880). Possible relative?
