Dear Erin, Hi. Welcome to FamilyTreeCircles. Here's a bit of help for you. I shall include websites of where I've obtained the information so you can do the looking yourself.
Goto NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages click on FAMILY HISTORY, click on SEARCH HISTORICAL INDEXES, then click on SEARCH NOW, then choose between BIRTH AND DEATH RECORDS and MARRIAGE RECORDS.
It seems that your great grandparents were married in the year 1892 at Tamworth in New South Wales, Australia.
Purchase marriage certificate of Joseph MASON and Catherine PURTELL
3 births of children born to Joseph MASON and wife Catherine
Deaths of children born to Joseph MASON and wife Catherine
Please bear in mind that MASON is a common and popular surname. The only way you will know for sure the children's names in the whole family is to purchase death cert of either great grandparent.
I didn't find birth records in NSW (New South Wales) for Catherine PURTELL or Joseph MASON.
If you search here at familytreecircles in the top right hand corner for journals I have written on genie links for New Zealand you may find more details. Search for keyword 'cloud' author allycat.
Also join up as a free member of RootsChat and goto their EMIGRANTS TO NEW ZEALAND board. Rootschatters will just love to assist. You will see there is an EMIGRANTS TO AUSTRALIA board also.
I'd also recommend editing this journal and renaming the subject heading 'Australia: Looking for Joseph MASON and Catherine PURTELL Tamworth, NSW'. That way if any descendants happen to put any of those phrases in the search bar whilst googling on the internet, their search engine will list familytreecircles and your journal as one to read.
Good luck.
Regards,
Alison from QLD Australia
