I am looking for John Johnson who was married to Margaret Gai. His son, whose name was also John Johnson, was born in 1722 and left for America after the Battle of Culloden. The younger Johnson was christened on 9 December 1722 in Tulliallan, Perth so I assume the family lived close to this area. I believe they were members of Clan Donald.

I am a direct descendent of these people and I would like to trace my ancestry back further if possible. I would also like to know more about this family and clan if possible.
