My father's mother was a Bishop from the Scott County Bishops. My mother has done extensive work on my dad's lines. (The problem is that we are living on opposite coasts right now, so this isn't as easy as it sounds.)

Hello, I am new to this website, and am very excited to hopefully find some information on my dads side of the family, my grandmothers maiden name was Bishop (Florance Elizabeth Bishop) and she married William Thompson, they had several children, my dad, frank edgar Thompson being one of them, they lived in the area of rye cove as well, i remember hearing the story of some of my aunts and uncles were attending school when the cyclone of rye cove came through, any of this sound familiar to anyone? thanks in advance for any information i get.
