I have been searching for my greatgrandmother barbara johnson daughter to silas & sara johnson. Barbara was born in 1869 ohio, van wert county. She had one son born martin william lewis and later barbara married George Ellis about 1893, and martin took the last name of Ellis. Martin was my grandfather Who moved to michigan, married Ida May Tilly from paulding ohio In 1914 jackson michigan. I am looking to find his bio. father of lewis. No record of his father was on martin's birth cert. Only barbara johnson was listed as mother. I have searched for years and came to a dead end finding martin's real father lewis.
