John Carney may have married Sarah Clyman 1 April 1844. Found him 1855 as head of household in Vermilion County, IL.

Also found a John Carney in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana in the 1850 census, age 30 years old with occupation listed as boater, and from New York. This could be mine according to the age.
