I was in and out of Cincinnat's orphanage and Dayton's foster homes all of my life. My **..??#@????????........(mother), couldnt raise all of us and we really didn't know our father as he also had another family as well, our maternal grandmother took care of us as best as she could until her health got so bad that her daughter came to ohio,got her and took her back to Ky. where she was from.

Now I am looking for information on my father's family, but I am especially looking for anyone with ties to the Edwards family from Ky./N.Carolinia. I was told by my biological father before he passed away in 1991, that he did have pictures of his parents:Collie Edwards and Elizabeth (Barnes). But at that time i didn't get to see them.

I was also told that my great-grandfather was from a indian tribe,my father said that his father gave him a pendent/(?)necklace of an Falcon(?) and said that he thought that his mother's father may have made it. If anyone would have any information on what tribe this might be, I would sure appreciate it, I don't have much to go on I know, but my father is gone now for many years, and my mother since 1979, so she never knew that I even found my father, so I'd sure like to know about this piece of jewlery, and know if my great-grandfather indeed was native-american or not.
