My grandfather Claude Franklin Ladd, Sr. just passed away 11/13/2007 and was born 5/14/1931. He derved in the U.S. Army 1948-1952 in the 278th Division Co. M during the Korean War era. His father was Samuel Franklin Ladd born 12/09/1909 and died at the age of 56. was married at the age of 21 to ClaraBelle Love age 18 born 7/13/1912 died 7/27/2006. They were married 35 years and had two sons.
