I am one of the Harris connection. My grandmother was Olive Jones, born in Whareora about 1900. I was at the McKinnon reunion in Whangarei in 1958 (?) If I remember correctly, my Uncle George piped in the haggis.(I have photos if anyone is interested), and hope to be there Easter 2009. Hoping to go to Arran this August. There are several real Mckinnons here in Minnesota.
