Dear Mark,
Well that chart is extensive. And I have other information from a lady in SA, lots of emails back and forth. She come from the Weir side of the family.
Do you have particular names you are looking for and yes the charts includes the Tollidays from Ballarat.
You can write to me at MsMeridy@yahoo.com if you wish.
I am near Benalla, where are you.
Cheers
Meredith
I have two Marks as well..which one are you...
And I meant Geelong..as many of the Tollidays started off down that way after immigrating in 1855 at Port Henry.
I am happy to share any information I have with you. If you were born in 1962 we are close in age.
And you probably got kids my kids ages.
Keep in touch.
Meredith
Hello Meredith.
My maiden name was Numa.I read with interest your information on Louis Agnon Numa and Charlotte Anne Lagarde.
I was interested to see that Christianna Tolliday and Agnon had a son as I thought they had no children..
I believe Christianna died at age 42 ( maybe 1877)
It is a little confusing here as I have Louis and Charlotte's son ( Agnon Louis ) born 1830 being married to Jane Martha Clarke in 1882.
Also my grand mother was Violet Irene Cole whom you state came from Scotland. She was born here in Aust. but her Father came from Greenoch which is in Scotland ( I think)
I will be interested to have your comments on all of this and hope you can 'put me straight' with the Numa family history. Cheers Cherie

Hey Cherie,
Thanks for the message. I love hearing from family members.
I have these handwritten notes from when people have visited Genealogy groups in Australia. They write down all the details they can when they do their research. So it isn't my information as such but have no reason to doubt the validity because it would have been taken from BDM records of the state.
I think you are a little confused as to who is who.
Christiana Tolliday married Agnon Charles Louis Numa in Australia and they had one son Charles Louis Numa.
This Charles married his first cousin Jane Martha Clark daughter of Charles Jonas Clark and Elizabeth Tolliday. They came out of the ship British Empire arriving in 1855.
Christiana, Elizabeth, John Curtis and William Tolliday sailed together with the mother Jane Curtis Tolliday.
Elizabeth was married to Charles Clark and had a little girl with them on the ship (Jane), John was married to Elizabeth Miles and had 2 little girls on board.
William married in Australia Priscilla Barton.
So when Charles Louis Numa married Jane they had two sons Herbert born 1883 and Charles Louis born 1889. If you want anymore info just ask me.
Their son Charles Louis Numa married Violet Cole who was born in Scotland supposedly.
Keep in touch...
