John Algire was born 6/22/1848 in Indiana to Joseph Algire and Sophia Frederick. John married Marcelite Emily Govreau or (Govro) in Ste.Genevieve Missouri 11/28/1867. their children were Mary Emma b.2/3/1869,Florence Ellen b. 12/20/1871 d.Sep 1938 in Iron County Mo.,
Fanny E. b. 1874, Joseph E. b. 1879....Marcelite Emily Govreau apparently died sometime between 1879 and 1893 as John Algire was re-married to Florence Henderson. Their children were Theresa b.1894, Bernard b. 1898, Henry b.1899 and Oliver Howard b. 11/26/1901 d. 1/25/1928 in St.Louis Mo.
