Dear Lizabeth, Welcome to FamilyTreeCircles. It certainly is hard to trace ancestors with Prussian (German) ancestry, but it can be done.

One tip I would recommend is purchasing the death certificates of all children of your g.grandparents in the hopes that more information is recorded on them. Death Certs are only as reliable as the informant though, but sometimes you can strike 'gold' with more data.
