Looking for information on the Rushton family primarily from Little Bolton, Sharples, Cox Green, and Turton. I have traced back to 1812 when William Rushton of Sharples was born. He married Alice ? born in Turton. I would like to research further but have come to a dead end. It is proving difficult researching from Australia. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not too hard researching into the United Kingdom for your ancestors all the way from Australia. This is what I did and I'm from Queensland. Join up as a new user at this free website RootsChat. Of interest to you will be their Emigrants to Australia board and also their England boards esp. the Lancashire childboard. Make sure you read their Beginners and How to Use RootsChat sections.
