On my father's side - I know that John Richards arrived in New Brunswick, Canada from Wales in 1826 or there abouts. One brother went to New York.

They went and lived in a small settlement they named Cardigan. From there they branched out and settled and worked in Boiestown and also went to Campbellton. The family amassed a comfortable living through the pulp and paper industry. They lost a lot during the stock market crash of 1929.
My grandmother was Norah Rosbourgh and she married Cecil Richards. They lived in Campbellton where my father and two other children were born - Robert and Judith.

My mother's side, Of which I am aware - her mother Adeline Fournier married Wesley Furlought. They had six children. Interesting enough when the doctors filled out the birth certificate my uncle known to family and friends as Bud(dy)spelt his surname differently. Ferlotte.

My aunt Kristine has been following the family tree for sometime now. I am looking for futher information on the Richards side. I would like to find out info about the line that went to the United States. Also wondering if any travelled here to New Zealand or even Australia.
