hello i am lyn gillespie , i have been looking everywhere to add to my family tree, it is just i have not all the names. my ggrandfather, israel levy steingold born 1851, in warsaw which was russia then and now poland. his wife i only have her first name as rachel.born 1854. in russia warsaw. their son my grandfather, noah levy steingold, born 1889,in russia warsaw. there were more brothers and one sister, names i do not know yet.israels father was isaac his name was on israels gravestone,his mother whoes, name i do not know was on his gravestone too.i dont think isaac was with them when they came over, late 1800, to 1900.my grandmother, ellen costa married my grandfather noah levy steingold in 1911. if anyone can help with any info hopefully what i havent looked atit would be great a jewish family living in the eastend of london.thankyou linda

You would do better if you posted your families surnames and information and dates for them in the Family Surnames Section of http://www.familytreecircles.com/ or in the message boards at http://www.looking4kin.com/ where it will get more exposure from people looking for the same names.

Hi I am researching Devitts of Loughros point Ardara in Co Donegal and understand there are some Devitts in Australia a Rhonda Betts I think who visited Loughros point to see Devitts Cottage where her fore bearers came from. I am interested in trying to tie in a connection between Margaret Devitt of Croaghlin Killybegs in Co Donegal to my Ardara Devitts Margaret was a widow woman her husband we think may have been a schoolmaster in the early 1800s around the killybegs area they had one son William who emigrated to America. We are just curious to see if Margaret had any siblings or any connection to Ardara as the two areas are only 15 miles apart far back in those days but not now.
