William John Crossan married Martha Reid in the second Moneymore Presbyterian Church on 16 June 1859. Their age and birthplace are unknown. Their first child, James, was born at Carrydarragh on 17 November 1860. The second child, John, was born at Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland, on 3 March 1863, and the third, Thomas William, born at Cookstown, Tyrone, on 21 September. 1866. Martha died on 19 January 1872. No other children have be found. James married Harriet Matheson, born 3 May 1864 at Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland, (parents Finlay Matheson and Catherine McDonald), on 11 March 1887. Their first child, William John was born on 3 May 1887. James and Harriet emigrated to Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia in 1888. James was a groom at Allemuir House, Colinton. William John is my paternal grandfather.
