He was convicted of Highway Robbery and sent to Van Diemans Land (Tasmania, Australia) in 1823 on the Sir Godfrey Webster. He married Lucy Falconbridge in Hobart and they had children Emma, Charles, James, Joseph, William and Lucy. |
