There is a dead end with my GGF -Charles Wigginton, investigation of all the places in and around Sparta have not revealed anything regarding his parents.Here is what info I have:
Charles, b 25 Jan 1836, d 10 May 1904 in Sparta, Illinois - buried in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Charles marr Melissa Simmons on 22 Dec 1859 in Sparta.
Melissa was b 12 Jun 1841 in Baldwin, Ill, d 24 Feb 1906.
7 children listed, Mary Adeline, Laura, Henry, Amanda, Albert Charles (Burtrum), Sarah Arena, Hattie.
Any help at all on these folks would be so appreciated!!!!
