Alexandre and Elisabeth Guerre and children, Alexandre, Xavier and Charles sailed on the La Savoie from Havre to Ellis Island, NY on Sept 21,1907. Theyir last residence was St. Die in Alsace and they had family in Liepvre and other small towns nearby. We are searching for any famiy. Elisabeth's maiden name was Jehlen/Yehlen.After arriving in the US they settled in Kokomo, Indiana andrecords show family in Chicago, Illinois. Eventually, Eise and Alexandre had another son George in 1912. Alexandre, Elise. George and Xavier settled in Gary,Indiana where Xavier became a priest and eventually a Monsignor. The four of them lived and died in Gary but the other two sons stayed in Kokomo where they raised their families.
