If you goto http://www.rootsweb.com and scroll down to Rootsweb WorldConnect and click on Seach Family Trees you will come to a search box. Type in BENEDICT William born Canada and you will see two family trees that have your ancestor in them. No parents names though, but wife and children.
It is very likely that his mother's maiden name was PRINGLE as it is one of the children's middle names.
And http://www.familysearch.org has two IGI Individual Records for William Case BENEDICT.
