I am looking for Edward Phillips born Sept. 1787 or 1789 in Lyme Connecticut. He came to Rutland, Jefferson Co. New york in 1808 and 1810 bought 50 acres of land and fought in the War of 1812. He married Mary Pierce, Daughter of Icahbod Pierce and Mary Crouch in Champion, Jefferson Co. New York on Dec. 25, 1813. They had 10 children. I am unable to find his parents or his brthers and sisters. He was of English decent I have been told.
