hi, looking back into my mothers past. As one of four children none of them ever asked her when she came here or anything else about her life. know that one sister came here also, we think around 1908-1910. well i'd better get busy. last name was kuzara. father martinus kuzara. mother sophia bloszaj. from galicia. first day of journal hope to find out more so i can add to it.


Well, Have found out where the town is. Kuzara's lived in Wolka Sokolowska a small town in southeast poland. It is near the town of Trzebos. Martinus and Sophia had several children only two of that we know about. Catherina (Katherine) and Franciska (Frances), they both came over here to the United States. Katherine married a joannes(John) Bandura. John was born in the town of Trzebos and Katherine in the town of Wolka Sokolowska. Did a google map of Trzebos though the help of the Polish Gen. Forum and could see that they were very close. There are still Banduras and Jacek's living in Trzebos. John's mothers maiden name was Jacek's.
