My family search goes back to William Gibb b.1643 at Bruton.All of his descendants are from Merriott.In the 1880s some of the family came over to South Wales,with one family member,who was a mormon,going to America where he married a second wife.He was jailed for this offence,but still kept both wives and produced 24 children.
