On the passenger list of the barque "OLYMPUS" arriving Wellington 20-4-1841 from London, the entry under the MABEY family says that "Sophia 10 years left behind W.A."
PASSENGER LIST for OLYMPUS
Does anyone know what that means ?
I cannot find the OLYMPUS arriving in W.A. (what I ASSUMED to be West Australia) in 1841 to drop her off.
I now think that it stands for another port on the way to NZ.
What route would it have taken?

I want to know why Sophia was left behind - maybe sickness - as she was only ten, and did anyone go back and get her at some stage as her parents carried on to Wellington.
