My daughter married into the ELY family way back when. The children and grandchildren request that I do some research and let them know where and how they happen into this world with a name as simple as ELY. As it turns out there is quite a bit of information but very little about the people. From appearances they started in this country (USA) in Connecticut, to North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi. From there they sprayed themselves all over the USA.
