Delabar's of ohio was started by Michael and Fraana's journey from Schelingen germany in 1846. They crossed the Atlantic with five children but Emmaulle died as an infant during the voyage. They settled in Scioto County Ohio and worked as farmers, boot makers, and merchantile businesses. The family were devoted catholics with a ordained priest and my grandfather almost a priest. Our clan has spread out to Ohio, Kentucky, Washington, D>C. Virginia and Michigan.
