I am looking for information on Mark Fitzgerald (b. 1841 m. 1866 in Forbes, NSW) and Annabella/Annabel Thorpe. Apparently Mark was a direct descendant of Lord Edward Fitzgerald, a renowned Irish Patriot who fought and died for the cause of "freedom for Ireland". Lord Fitzgerald's name together with another great Irishman, Michael Dwyer, is inscribed on an imposing monument in a Sydney Cemetery. Mark and Annabel had a daughter (among other children) Catherine b. 4.11.1878 at Ooma Station, d. 3.4.1962 Gooloogong NSW.
