James Alfred Pitts emigrated to Queensland from Yorkshire UK pre WW1 he was head teacher at Hillside State School West Plane Creek, Sarina, Queensland in 1917. His brother William Arthur (Known as Arthur)Pitts served for the Australian Army in WW1, an is rumoured to have worked on the Sydney Harbour Bridge after he was discharged. Any info on either of these gentlemen would be appreciated.
