I am looking for any descendants or information on Alexander Taylor .Born 1884 ,Fallowfield Lancaster.Father ,Alfred James .Mother Maud Mary Bamford.Maud died shortly after giving birth .Alexander named his step mother ,Bertha Liegh as his mother on later certificiates.
Alexander was born Nathaniel Alexander James Taylor .The name Nathaniel was dropped by the 1891 census.
I have found Alexander & his family on the 1901 census in Chorlton ,England,but then have a blank 40 years until he married Elsie Melinda Rowe in Roma Queensland Australia in 1940.Alexander died in 1949 in Charleville Queensland Australia.By 1940 he had changed his surname from Taylor to Turner.
Alexander had a half sister ,Marjorie born 1892.
I am slowly going backwards with the family ,but would dearly love to fill in the missing years.
