Josef Muehlbauer came from Germany with wife #2, Theresia LOEBL, in 1883 leaving behind 3 dtrs. A son & dtr accompanied him along with the dtr of wife #2. He settled in Ramsey, Fayette, IL for awhile & then moved to Madison Co, IL. The oldest child of this couple was my grandmother. Josef md wife 3 & on the marriage record he gave his parents names as Peter Muehlbauer & Katharine KIPPEL. I know that other Muehlbauer relatives settled in either Wis or Minn.
