Welcome. I'm guessing you are from New Zealand. Of interest to you will be the Whakapapa Club. Register as a new user so you can post messages, then you should be able to find out more on your Whanau.

Cheerio.

Hi peata1 I am originally from Hawkes Bay,but moved up to the East Coast of Gisborne to a small place called Tokomaru Bay. I am just letting you know that my father's name was also Hori NiaNia and my mother is a Christie from wairoa. My father's family come from Takapau in the Hawkes Bay area and is an older 1/2 brother to Pita Sharples. Please I woul like more information about your family.

Hi there!
Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner! Yep my e-mail is jaxs_38@yahoo.co.nz
As for the Christie's and the NiaNia whanau being related you are not wrong b/c my mother and her first cousin both married a NiaNia and at one of the Christie's reunion, I couldn't believe it when so many NiaNia's stood up to introduce themselves. Hope to hear from you soon peata
luv Jacqui
