Reg Emery came to Australia when he was about 22 yrs old. His father's name was William Robert Emery and he was born in 1899 in Cardiff or Bristol. I think he may have been born in Wales and gre up in Bristol.
There was a Mr R Emery who arrived in Melbourne in October 1922 on the ship PALOONA 1 age 22 but I'm not 100% if thats him or not.
He said he was the oldest of 13 children and that his father married a few times.
He married my grandmother Alma Rodger in 1938 in Victoria.
He dies aged 76 in Jan. 1975 Dandenong, Victoria
