William McKinley b. Ireland abt 1790's m. Mary Bowman in Pa. had three issues in Pa that are not verified, at this time. Moved to Athens County, Ohio abt 1820's. Since William was deaf/dumb the oldest son was shown on the census as the HOH, not him.
Henry McKinley (so. of William / Mary McKinley) b. abt 1820 in Pa. m. Nancy McElree abt 1840's. Their issues:
Mary E 1843; William 1845; Caroline 1847; Elizabeth 1849; John Henry 1851; Richard 1854; Harriett 1857; George 1860 - all born in Athens County, Ohio.
John Henry McKinely (so. of Henry / Nancy McKinley) m. Hannah Hixon 23 Jan 1876 - m. Rebbecca Pugh 1 April 1855 - m. Mary Baird (Beard) 18 Sept 1885 in Athens County, Ohio.
I am from the marriage of John and Mary McKinley and their son James Henry McKinley. James married my Grandmother Gladys E. Hunter in Stark County, Ohio 1920's. Her mothers' name was Rhoda Ann Lambert Hunter, from Gallia County, Ohio.

Pa. line is from paternal side of the family.
