Their son Joseph Britton (Brit)Hendrix was b. 5-16-1884 in Indian Territory. He died 10-2-1932 inMaysville,Garvin Co,OK. Britt married Virginia,"Jennie" E. Hendrix on 8-17-1903 in Sash,Fannin Co, Tx. They divorced. They did have two children. One daughter died at an early age. My husband's grandmother was Maudie Lee Hendrix.
Here's the kicker!!! Jasper's father was Edin Gray Hendrix who married a Jane James. Later, he married Harriet Newell Campbell. One,of their children, was Jennie Hendrix. She married Britt Hndrix, Edwin's grandson. In fact, Jennie was his aunt. The marriage was short lived. Britt was never discussed. I discovered this information a few years ago.
