John REARDON turned up on an Affidavit amongst some Probate papers of my husbands ancestor. My husband's great great grandmother Mary Reardon had married twice: 1st Cantwell; 2nd McFall. The Affidavit was amongst the papers of the 2nd husband. Although it mentions that he lived with his family at Byrne Street, South Melbourne, it did not list who his wife or children were. There were so many John Reardon's around Melbourne at this time (1867) that it has been hard to find which one he was. I have managed to track him to 1899 where he was still listed as a Stereotyper as John Reardon Senior of 11 Stewart Street, Richmond.
