I'm looking for information on Martins from Moate, Co Westmeath in Ireland. My grandfather was William Martin, married to a scottish woman, Elizabeth Brown originally from Edinburgh. We are told that my grandfather was one of 6 lads in the family. He had at least one sister - Ellie.

We don't know where the other 5 brothers went to. William was the postman in Moate town during the 1920s. My father, Kevin was born in 1927. At that time they lived on Main Street Moate.
