Looking for Hotel Owners /Proprietors of Wellington, New Zealand before 1900

One of the 'priorities', it seems, of the early settler to Wellington, New Zealand was to establish drinking establishments to quench the thirst of the weary traveller

Before 1900, considering the *population of Wellington pre 1900, there were MANY hotels, rooming house, doss houses etc

*During the last half of the 19th century Wellington grew rapidly.
In 1867 there were 7,460 residents.
By 1899 Wellington became a city with a population of 49,344.

I would like to reference these hotels with owners from the settlers of Wellington pre 1900

I would like you to help build the page - do you know of anyone who had one of the hotels below ? - An ancestor perhaps?
