Francis Skinner

Born: 1801 in England
Died: 10.09.1831 in Windsor NSW Australia

Francis skinner was tried and convicted for Larceny from a person - at London’s Bailey Court House in December 1823. He was transported to NSW on the ‘Minerva’ in 1824.

On arrival in Australia he was employed by William Cox of ‘Claredon’ at Windsor – and it is thought that he was a bricklayer.

On the 4th March 1830, aged 29 years, he married Ann Reason aged 26 years at St. Mathews Church Windsor, by rev. Joseph Docker – witnesses were Laban White and Edgar Cox.
