Loking for information on Joseph A Childers/Childress. I have found him with both spelling's. Joseph was born in North Caroling in about 1867. He moved with his family to Virginia, and after his marriage to Sarah Jane McKnight he moved to her home state of Kentucky. From there Joseph, Sarah and their children moved to Missouri where he farmed in Taney County Missouri. In 1900 the family moved to Tahlequah Oklahoma. Joseph died in 1920
