Hi,
I am researching my great grandfather, Philip BOYD, who was born in Wollongong on 11 November 1842 and was baptized in St Xavier’s Catholic Church on 23 November 1842.
He came over to New Zealand as a young man in 1861.
There is evidence that he was quite well educated, presumably in a Wollongong Catholic School, in the late 1840s/early 1850s.
I would greatly appreciate any help in finding any records of his school days.
