* The first son of Emil & Sarah, also named Emil Rudolf Theodore Voss (1882-1883), died aged 1 week from 1 year old (14 months before the birth of the son they named the same) and was buried at Bolton St, cemetery Wellington
* Their 2nd son, Emil Rudolf Theodore Voss (1884-1976), supplied the death details of his wife Cissy (nee Kirby) Voss on 2 April 1943 (married 1910). He next married Rose Elizabeth Parker in 1945 (buried above). He died 2 years after her, 21 July 1976, in Christchurch

Name was the same as the first two sons. I have the baptism record and parents names as well. Emil Rudolf Theodore Voss and the baptism states his birthdate as 8 JUNE 1843 • Rostock, Germany
They had several more children than this as well

It's my recollection that my Nana, Freda Aston Voss, a child of Frederick used to talk about her Aunties with flower names, so Daisy, Rose Violet etc. Sissy was the one that didn't have a flower nickname I believe.
