The earliest OLLARD we have is WILLIAM, a bootmaker, in Middlesex, London in 1800. An old great-aunt referred to him as 'he that was an Irishman.' A grandson of this WILLIAM (child of his son WILLIAM and his wife, MARGARET born HESK), also WILLIAM, was born in Ireland (1881 Census). Only incidence of the surname in Griffith's Valuations is in West Meath.
