I am looking for information on Dennis G Leahy. Per his death certificate,he was born on Feb 3, 1834 in Cork, Ireland to Michael Leahy and Helen Hart (both were born in Ireland). Dennis settled in Northern Vermont and on March 3, 1852 he married Rosa-Ella Bashaw in East Berkshire, Vermont. He served in the 1st Vermont calvary during the Civil War, was wounded and captured. On April 29, 1913 her passed away and was buried in East Berksire, VT. He was my great-grandfather.
