Hi
My name is Chantelle Jenkins, I live in kerikeri. Marcellus Cook is my great great grandfather. my mother is Marcellus Jenkins. My family and I (5 of us in total) are actually leaving to go to Boston this coming sunday, My brother Kane lives there, and we have been in contact with the Chair women of the Wompanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah. We plan on travelling to what is know as "the Cook lands" the tribal lands of the Wompanoag tribe, and our ancestral lands. We are meeting Cheryl Andrews-Maltais, who is the chairwomen of the tribe. They are all extremely happy to meet us and the are all very aware that they have a 'kiwi' connection, through Marcellus Cook. So we plan on getting as much info as possible to bring back to Kerikeri. Please contact me at sarsepeter@hotmail.com if you want us to bring back anything in particular. Hope we can help
