My Meikle family came to NZ, Archibald (born 1848 in Lanark)and Mary Ann Scott arrived in Dunedin 1874.
His parents were Archibald and Jane Burns of Stonehouse, Lanark.
I do have a Thomas Meikle, married Mary Barr at Lesmahagow, Lanark, they had a son John, born 1833, was one of 8 children.
