because he kept such meticulous and detailed diaries of everything he did (from what he ate to what he thought of people) I am sure he has written that info somewhere (unfortunately I haven't had a chance to read any of his diaries)

Lydia Weaver wrote 'Reading On the Farm' (2010) a book about the day-to-day life of the people who lived and worked at Brancepeth Station, near Masterton, as far back as the late 1800s, from station diaries kept by the then estate clerk John Vaughan Miller

I think you have this book. Was there nothing in there about his moving??

Thanks for your reply , Yes I do have Lydia's Book & have read it twice , but no , Nothing of how he got from A to B . We are also trying to trace a Photo of him ,as neither Lydia or I are 100% certian that the photo Lydia has used in the Book , is actually John Vaughan Miller .
I am also trying to trace the Families of some of his children , namely ,
Herbert Vaughan , Hubert Frances Vaughan , Mary Elizabeth , Maud , and Ruth . We are decended from Basil Vaughan Miller
