Joseph was my Great Great Grandfather, he was born on Jan. 25,1801 in Penfield, Monroe County, NY. On Nov. 24, 1824 in Penfield he married Candace Ralph. They had eleven children, all born in Monroe County, NY. Sometime around 1850 they all moved to Branch County, Michigan. They build a nice brick house in Kinderhook which is still standing. Joseph died on Oct. 26, 1863 and Candace died on April 8, 1894 they are both buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Coldwater, Michigan.
